how much is artificial grass for a front lawn measuring approx 30 by 50 sq feet including installation?
Very difficult to find this info by searching online. I am sure that they would have to come in and grade the lawn and what about weeds? Do they just stop growing?
I do not know where you are located. I have a friend in Arizona that installs artificial grass in Scottsdale and Phoenix Arizona areas. He has been installing artificial grass for over thirty years. Be careful about installing artificial grass. Very expensive to have laid. They guarantee it for years but most plastic type material fade and go brittle in the sun, so you can’t see it lasting in perfect condition for say 20 years.
It’s pretty impractical unless the area is in dense shade. Unlike real grass which you mow and pick up leaves from surrounding plants and is pretty self cleaning, Artificial turf is not maintenance free, you would have to use some sort of outside vacuum to remove dirt, and leaf litter etc. It gets very hot to walk on if installed in the sun so is not really suitable for children and animals in the height of summer. You will really have to do your homework to see if it will work in your situation and you would need a very lengthy guarantee for the cost. Hope this information helps.
